Over the past decade, EDS has developed a range
of "Off the Shelf" modules. Our range of High Speed
Cam driven Action Box machines are designed to
feed (or pick & place) small components at high
speed. These can be offered as individual units or
integrated into assembly machines. Such units have
enabled us to design high-speed, automated
machines for the assembly and stitching of
components (electrical connectors, for example),
processing up to 500 units per minute.
Our de-reeler and re-reeler units
were designed specifically for wire
and strip products and can be
integrated with high speed feed machines.
As a free standing unit or bolt on attachment,
our reelers are supplied with their own control
units & feedback systems that ensure efficient
operation of feed reliant machines.
